Fans that can’t wait to see Scream VI in theaters are in for a special treat. A new Super Bowl trailer, titled the Big Game Spot, has just been released for Scream VI. Excitingly enough, the promo features a couple snippets of all-new footage!
It’s clear that this new installment in the Scream film franchise will be much different than its predecessors. Although the New York setting is one such giveaway – there’s a much darker tone at play here. This new trailer teases that with several intense moments that will no doubt have audiences at the edge of their seats.

Of course, there’s only about one month to go before the film hits theaters. So for those fans that can’t wait to see Scream VI – the film is already almost here. By that time we’ll uncover all of the exciting secrets – including who this new Ghostface killer could be. After all, they certainly look like they’ll be one of the biggest threats in the franchise so far.
Scream VI was directed by 2022 Scream directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence. James Vanderbilt & Guy Busick also returned to write the screenplay. Scream creator Kevin Williamson executive produced alongside Radio Silence member Chad Villella. Gary Barber and Peter Oillataguerre of Spyglass were also attached as executive producers.
The cast for the film includes Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, and Dermot Mulroney. Additionally, Samara Weaving, Tony Revolori, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra, and Henry Czerny will also be appearing in the film. Courteney Cox will reprise her role as Gale Weathers while Hayden Panettiere will return as Kirby Reed for the first time since Scream 4.
