Actor Keanu Reeves is widely recognized for his kind demeanor and down-to-earth personality. Unfortunately, things appear to have gotten serious for the John Wick star. It’s been reported that Keanu Reeves had to file a restraining order against an alleged stalker.
This news was shared via TMZ. According to the outlet, the alleged stalker is said to be Bryan Dixon. This person is said to have been “harassing” Keanu Reeves and his partner, Alexandra Grant, for “months” now. Additionally, Dixon is said to have been finding ways onto their property to stalk them.
The outlet acquired several legal documents which state “Keanu hired a security firm to investigate Dixon after claiming he kept showing up at the actor’s home uninvited, and finding different ways onto the property.”
“The docs say Dixon trespassed 6 times from November through January — the first time, on November 5, he entered through a side gate and fell asleep in the backyard before getting the boot.”
Obviously, it wasn’t long before Dixon returned. In fact, he “allegedly came back the next morning and left a ‘suspicious and alarming’ backpack on Keanu’s property, which they say included a DNA testing kit ‘apparently intended to use on Mr. Reeves in a delusional attempt to prove they are blood-related.”
However, Reeves’ legal team insists that Dixon is not related to Reeves at all. Furthermore, they’ve discovered that “Dixon currently has a bench warrant issued against him in Rhode Island for alleged breaking and entering with felonious intent, possessing burglary tools and vandalism.” The alleged stalker’s rap sheet is said to go back two decades.
If that wasn’t enough, Bryan Dixon’s actions also extend to online harassment. Reeves’ legal team have stated that Dixon is posting a number of “disturbing messages on social media.” The messages specifically refer to Dixon as “Jasper Keith Reeves” in an effort to suggest that he’s related to Keanu Reeves. In fact, he’s been trying to assign his personal “rights” to Keanu so that the Matrix actor can be in “charge” of him.
The aforementioned restraining order requested by Keanu Reeves was granted temporarily by a judge. It states that Dixon cannot come within 100 yards of Keanu and Alexandra. However, the alleged stalker is said to have attempted entering the beloved celebrity’s property as recently as January 20. Police are currently involved with the case.
