The COVID-19 pandemic has made it a difficult place for celebrities to speak their minds regarding vaccines. Nevertheless, some have still taken a stance against them. Now Shazam actor Zachary Levi has confirmed his belief that “Pfizer is a real danger to the world.”
His confirmation was made on Twitter when Moorhouse Group CEO Lyndon Wood asked the following question:
“Do you agree or not, the Pfizer is a real danger to the world?”
Zachary Levi retweeted his question and answered with the following:
“Hardcore agree.”
Hardcore agree. 😐 https://t.co/goeEf5UQ5s

Naturally, this was an open invitation for backlash. As you can see below, a number of Twitter users illustrated their disappointment or anger with Zachary Levi and his stance on Pfizer:
Okay, one less movie ticket to spend money on.
Stupid.

Blocked for disappointing nonsense.

@MarkRuffalo, I know it is DC and Marvel but could we do some sort of intervention here?

For your own sake, please call @MarkRuffalo and beg him to help you understand how celebrities can be outspoken critics of corporate America, Big Pharma, and even Pfizer specifically without playing into antivax propaganda.

Here I was, actually kind of excited for your movie. But nah. I’m not supporting you now.

Of course, some users were quite supportive of Levi’s take. They responded with the following posts:
Glad to see Hollywood waking up.

Somehow you’ll be in more trouble for this than Ezra Miller will be for anything he’s done

The funniest news cycle ever is going to be when Zachary Levi has to clarify that he doesn’t like Pfizer for the correct reasons and not for the incorrect reasons.https://t.co/VvgbyXsMUa

Furthermore, Zachary Levi shared the following post a day later to support his point-of-view:
Just one example of what I’m referring to…😔https://t.co/5xCpCSCDrl

The article he shared happens to be the 2009 Justice Department report on Pfizer’s $2.3 billion fraud settlement. This particular settlement is known for having been the largest health care settlement in history. Though there are other reasons for the controversial discussions regarding Pfizer. This includes the ongoing investigation by the CDC into “whether there was a safety concern for ischemic stroke in people ages 65 and older who received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent.”
Meanwhile, actor Zachary Levi will soon reprise his role as Shazam for the upcoming film Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
David F. Sandberg directed Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The screenplay for the film was penned by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan.
The cast for the film includes Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, and Helen Mirren.
