Pamela Anderson and Tim Allen once worked together on the ’90s sitcom Home Improvement. However, Anderson claims that her time on set didn’t go as expect. In fact, Anderson alleges that fan-favorite actor Allen had flashed her with his penis behind-the-scenes.
This was revealed in her upcoming memoir titled Love, Pamela. An extract of the book was shared to Variety, and it’s during this passage that Anderson makes the allegation. The incident is said to have happened after Anderson left her dressing room.
Here’s what was shared:
“On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe.” the extract reads.
Pamela Anderson then claims that Tim Allen felt the urge to expose himself only because he’d apparently seen her naked already.
“He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.”
Of course, Pamela Anderson would have only been 23-years-old at the time. Additionally, this was not long after she had modeled for Playboy. This seems to explain the reference Allen allegedly made about having seen her naked. Pamela Anderson played the role of Lisa the Tool Girl on Home Improvement for two seasons beginning in 1991.
Tim Allen, who would’ve been 37 at the time, has denied Anderson’s claims, saying:
“No, it never happened,” Allen responded. “I would never do such a thing.”
Pamela Anderson responded to Tim Allen’s denial via Vanity Fair, saying:
“This true story is just one of many surreal and uncomfortable situations I learned to navigate. My book goes into how it made me feel over the course of my life and, in this case, my career. I have no ill will toward Tim. But like the rest, it should never have happened.”
As such, we’ll have to see if any other additional information comes to light. For now, however, Love, Pamela and the upcoming Netflix documentary Pamela, A Love Story, will be the first accounts from Anderson herself regarding her life.
