The upcoming second season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Loki just wrapped production. Now it’s been revealed that one of the cast members in Loki Season 2 is a Game of Thrones alum.
The show’s first season did a wonderful job at setting up the arrival of Kang the Conqueror and other aspects of the Multiverse. In fact, many of these aspects will be coming into play for upcoming MCU projects both on the big screen and on television.
As such, it’s expected that the second season will propel the overall franchise’s narrative forward in much of the same way – and as more casting announcements come out, we should get a better idea of where the popular Disney Plus series is headed.
Now we know Kate Dickie will be part of that, and fans should start getting excited. She previously played Lysa Arryn in Game of Thrones and Lex in BBC’s Tinsel Town.
This news comes via Deadline, where they also noted that Kate Dickie’s role in the highly-anticipated season is “being kept under wraps.” Though they do note that she appears to be “playing a villain” for the show. This should certainly be an exciting bit of news for those familiar with Dickie and her acting abilities.

Of course, given that exact details are being kept secret, we’ll have to wait for more information to come our way. But now that the second season has wrapped production – it shouldn’t be much longer before we have more details regarding Loki.
The cast of Loki Season 2 will once again feature Tom Hiddleston as the titular character. In addition to the aforementioned Kate Dickie, the cast also includes Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, and Rafael Casal.
The first season of Loki is currently available to watch on the Disney Plus streaming service. Fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for updates on the upcoming second season of Loki as we have them.
