It’s been more than a few years since That ’70s Show aired its final episode – but now it’s as if any time has passed at all. As fans can see below, a new teaser trailer for That ’90s Show has been released online by Netflix. The new footage reveals familiar characters Red and Kitty, played by Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, respectively. The teaser also takes some time to reveal some of the show’s new characters, including the introduction of Red and Kitty’s granddaughter Leia.
It’s a humorous look at the new series and even emphasizes a rather familiar locale – the basement. While there will clearly be some new changes to a show set decades into the future, That ’90s Show also looks like a genuine continuation of what’s come before. Hopefully fans will find enjoyment in the new continuation.
