With 2022 almost out of the way, it’s time to start getting hyped for all of the releases coming in 2023. In fact, the month of January already has quite a few horror films lined up, including an original horror flick titled Fear. As you can see below, the official trailer for Fear has been released, and it appears to be a rather chilling and exciting take on the genre.
The new film will be taking a more psychological approach with its scares. As described in the film’s synopsis, the storyline begins when “a group of friends gather for a much-needed weekend getaway at a remote and historic hotel. Celebration turns into terror as one by one, each guest faces their own worst fear.” It’s definitely a good setup for a proper horror film. And, best yet, the trailer reveals a few additional glimpses that should no doubt have fans eager to check this movie out in the theater.
Here’s the official trailer for the upcoming horror film Fear:
Fear was directed by Deon Taylor from a screenplay he wrote with John Ferry. Deon Taylor’s previous directorial credits include Fatale, Black and Blue, The Intruder, and Traffik along with a variety of other films. With these titles in mind, it’ll be exciting to see what he’s brought to the table with Fear. Luckily fans will be able to see the film in January – so they won’t have much longer to wait.
The cast for the film includes Joseph Sikora, Andrew Bachelor, Annie Ilonzeh, Ruby Modine, Iddo Goldberg, Terrence Jenkins, Jessica Allain, Tyler Abron, and Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris.
Fans will be able to see Fear in theaters on January 27, 2023. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional horror genre updates as we have them. As for now, with titles like this and other such highly-anticipated projects, 2023 should be a great year for horror fans.
