It’s certainly an unexpected move for the beloved Iron Man actor, but as you can see below, it turned out be quite the video experience.
As you can see below, he shared a video to demonstrate his new look. The actor can be spotted saying the following to his kids while they appear to be carving pumpkins:
“Hey, kids I need your help. You know how I am starting this new project soon,” he begins to tell them. “Yeah, The Sympathizer. I don’t want to have to wear a bald cap. So you have to shave my head.”
Then, after they obliged his request, Robert Downey Jr. thanked them with the following statement:
“Great job guys. I’ll let you get back to your pumpkin carving, but what do I owe ya?”

For those unfamiliar, the upcoming HBO series The Sympathizer is based on the 2016 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Viet Thanh Nguyen. Robert Downey Jr. will have several supporting roles throughout the series. With the introduction of the Multiverse, it seems quite possible that he’ll appear in Avengers: Secret Wars. So, with that in mind, it’ll be exciting to see where the fan-favorite actor might pop up next. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional updates as we have them.
