Many movie fans have been eager to know what would be happening with actor Ezra Miller. After all, the stack of allegations and recent arrests have certainly painted them in a negative light. But it now appears that Ezra Miller has not only issued an apology – but they confirm that they’ll be seeing treatment for “complex mental health issues.”
This was revealed via Variety, where Ezra Miller issued a statement regarding these aforementioned mental health issues. They further hope “to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage” in their life.
As explained by Ezra Miller in the full apology shared below:
“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” Miller began. “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
With this in mind, it seems as though the upcoming film The Flash will be released as planned. Many thought that Warner Bros would alter the film or shelve it completely, especially after the decision to cancel Batgirl, but it seems as though that won’t be the case. Especially because it was noted that “a source close to the studio says that Warner Bros. supports Miller’s decision to seek professional help.” It’ll be interesting to see how this situation continues as a result.
