It appears that Margot Robbie had a secret social media account, in particular one for Letterboxd, that was uncovered by fans. While it hasn’t been confirmed if Margot Robbie actually owned the account or not, it does seem likely. Especially because the Letterboxd account was deleted not long after it was tied to Margot Robbie.
As you can see below, it appears that the Letterboxd account included watchlists designed to help Robbie with her upcoming performances.
For example, she had a watchlist titled “Watch for Barbie” which included the following films:

Of course, it’s unclear how some of these, particularly The Truman Show, would be anything like the upcoming Barbie film. But given how few details have been revealed so far, it could be full of surprises. In which case, it might make sense why the account was soon removed upon being discovered – assuming it really did belong to Margot Robbie.
The official Letterboxd Twitter account used the following meme to insist they don’t know of any official account for Margot Robbie:

Furthermore, an additional list revealed what would allegedly be Margot Robbie’s inspiration for the upcoming film Babylon. This list definitely makes a lot more sense, as Babylon happens to be a period film about classic Hollywood.

While it’s unknown if Margot Robbie really did own the account or not, it’s neat to see the potential Letterboxd has for such celebrities. The application has certainly proved its usefulness in keeping track of movies for fans – it would no doubt be just as beneficial for celebrities as well.
Fans will be able to see Babylon in theaters later this year on December 25, 2022. Fans will then be able to see Margot Robbie yet again as Barbie on the big screen next year on July 21, 2023. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates on Margot Robbie and her upcoming film projects as we have them.
