While the third season of The Mandalorian didn’t get to begin production until the middle of last year, fans did get to see the story continue in The Book of Boba Fett. While that series received mixed to negative reception from fans, many of its highlights came from the inclusion of Din Djarin aka the protagonist of The Mandalorian. And who can forget his little companion Grogu, famously known by the internet as “Baby Yoda”? Well, the two will now be returning to Disney Plus soon enough. It’s just been revealed that The Mandalorian Season 3 has wrapped filming, and some new photos were released to celebrate.
Photos surfaced online from Amanda Ramirez, a member of the show’s costume department. She posted some nifty looking photos on her Instagram account (though they were later deleted) which include some embroideries as well as photos of her crew. At the very least, it looks like everyone had a good time on set. She also teased that they’ll be returning for another season as well.
Carl Weathers then retweeted the post:
…And what a season of WONDERFULNESS! #BePeace https://t.co/hD9S5lj8il

Although filming on The Mandalorian has wrapped, it’s very likely that there’s still some work to be done on the series before it’s truly ready. In any case, it’s nice to see progress and we’ll more than likely get to see the series before the end of this year. As such, fans of The Mandalorian should be getting excited for what’s to come next.
The previous two seasons and The Book of Boba Fett have teased some exciting new directions for our beloved characters, and there’s no telling what adventures they’ll get up to next. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for updates as we have them.
