It appears that the legal debacle between Amber Heard and her ex-husband Johnny Depp now has another interesting layer. As it turns out, Amber Heard is eagerly fighting to keep Johnny Depp from referencing her upcoming film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in any of their ongoing legal proceedings. It also seems that she doesn’t want to discuss any information about the film in the aforementioned proceedings either.
This information was gathered from alleged legal documents on Twitter, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. However, various other pieces of evidence and other such documentation have surfaced online in the past, and been proven to be valid, so this is certainly a notable find. Of course, because the documents have been posted in pieces and they’re taken out of context, it can be tricky to fully understand them.
But, as revealed via @PrinConsuella_ on Twitter, it appears that Amber Heard is very much trying to keep Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom from being mentioned by anyone involved in the legal proceedings. As they explained:
“Look, Amber Heard doesn’t want anyone to mention #AquamanAndTheLostKingdom during the trial! So, behave and never tag the movie when talking about this case, ok? don’t you mix the movie with the trial”
Here’s how the document reads:
“However, Ms. Heard’s proposed stipulation included conditions that were entirely unacceptable to Mr. Depp, including an agreement that neither party could even mention Aquaman 2 at trial…”

While the sentence is cut off, it does tell us that despite Amber Heard’s attempts to allegedly silence Johnny Depp, he seems to have rejected her terms. As for why she would want to silence discussions regarding the film, another alleged document might have the answer. As you can see below:
Update: Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard (CA)
WB has threatened to say "bad things" about Depp & Heard to avoid subpoena.
WB has agreed to (See below)-major delay in casting AH "due to creative issues in casting Ms. Heard":

It looks like Johnny Depp and his legal team intended to ask questions regarding Amber Heard’s role in the Aquaman sequel, and whether or not Warner Bros had any discussions to have her fired and replaced. If they did, it could give Johnny Depp additional evidence against Amber Heard if the studio were to believe his side of the story. As such, it’ll be interesting to see where this legal debacle goes from here.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is going to be directed by James Wan, director of the first Aquaman film, from a screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. He co-wrote the first Aquaman film alongside Will Beall and James Wan.
The film will once again star actor Jason Momoa as the titular superhero, Aquaman. The aforementioned Amber Heard will reprise her role as Mera. The cast also includes Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.
Audiences can currently expect Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom to be released late next year on December 16, 2022.
