With the growing popularity of Marvel thanks to the ongoing comic book franchises and the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans have been doing their best attempts at cosplaying their favorite superheroes. While many fans have crafted some excellent-looking costumes, others have looked to body paint to bring their favorite characters to life. It has to be said that body paint often recreates the look offered by comic book illustrations, which gives these specific superhero cosplays an exciting edge. Now cosplayer @KayPikeFashion has created her very own Scarlet Witch cosplay, based on the comic book designs, and created with body paint.
The color palette maintains a pink and red focus, with slight whites added for highlights. The body paint is a gorgeous look and one that really brings the comic book version of Scarlet Witch to life. As further noted in the caption for the cosplay via @KayPikeFashion:
“When life just doesn’t seem fair, make your own reality!”

As mentioned above, this cosplay is both gorgeous and rather comic book accurate. It really does look as though an illustration of Scarlet Witch has come to life, and with the stark white eyes, it only adds to the effect. With so many great cosplays and body paint recreations, it’s been amazing to see what fans have managed to come up with on social media.
Meanwhile, fans will soon get to see Scarlet Witch again on the big screen. The character is set to return for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will follow up with Wanda following the events of WandaVision.
Sam Raimi directed Doctor Strange 2, otherwise known as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, from a screenplay written by Jade Bartlett and Michael Waldron. The film’s cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Xochitl Gomez.
Audiences will be able to see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness when it hits theaters on May 6, 2022.
