One of the most beloved members of the Fantastic Four team is Susan Storm, otherwise known as the Invisible Woman. As the name suggests, Susan Storm possesses powers of invisibility. The powers eventually expanded to include gifts such as the ability to project forcefields, and they’ve since become trademarks of her character. Now cosplayer Melissa Croft has taken the opportunity to create her very own Invisible Woman cosplay, albeit created with body paint.
It’s an incredible display of talent, and Melissa Croft aka mcroft07 on Instagram, proves that she could make an excellent Susan Storm. As mentioned above, the cosplay was created mostly with body paint, and she does a gorgeous job at replicating the Invisible Woman outfit that Susan Storm so often wears. It’s a surreal, comic book-esque design to see come to life.
Here it is below:

She included the following statement in the caption of her photo:
“I had to redo my old one because I really disliked it! Wanted to wait a couple of years before I attempted it again though because I wanted to see a drastic improvement.”
We’ll probably be seeing the Invisible Woman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner rather than later, especially if certain rumors turn out to be true. Aside from Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic being strongly suggested to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it appears that Johnny Storm has been suggested to make an appearance as well. As such, it stands to reason that other characters like Susan Storm could show up as well. If not, the film is still paving the way for Marvel’s inevitable Fantastic Four film adaptation, which will be directed by Jon Watts.
Fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates on the Fantastic Four brand and the upcoming film adaptation as we have them. Until then, this awesome Invisible Woman cosplay is certainly worth enjoying.
