Well, everyone knew Game of Thrones is a popular show, but we didn’t know how popular it really was. Or how unpopular our current US Presidential candidates are, I guess.
In a humorous poll conducted by Survey Monkey, 24% of respondents chose Tyrion Lannister as their top choice for the next President of the United States. That’s the highest result; it’s a tie with Bernie Sanders, and way ahead of both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
In addition, a full 25% of respondents said the Seven Kingdoms government of Game of Thrones functions better than the US government. That’s pretty harsh.
