Although the recent films Venom and its sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage have given fans a great interpretation of Venom in live-action, it’s still great to see other takes on such beloved characters. One such take comes in the form of a cosplayer who decided to use body paint to turn herself into She-Venom. It’s a stunning way to bring the comic book character to life, and it’s surreal to say the least.
The She-Venom cosplay was donned by cosplayer @alientrashkitty on Instagram. The cosplay took every detail of the She-Venom comic book character into consideration. This includes the massive teeth and eyes that symbiotes are so well-known for. What’s more, she took extra time to create extra details by way of painting shadows that add so much more depth to the design. It’s incredible to say the least.
As you can see below, which also includes a video in the post:

Cosplayer @alientrashkitty even noted in her caption that she could “make her lips move” by simply moving her eyebrows. In her own words, it’s “a happy little accident.” It seems to be an added bonus to what’s already an impressive cosplay and recreation of a beloved comic book character.
While Venom and his fellow symbiotes tend to be created via CGI for their live-action film appearances, it’s the little cosplays like this that make me wonder what could be possible with practical effects. After all, with just some simple body paint, @alientrashkitty created an incredible comic book-accurate look based on the character. It really makes you wonder what could be possible with a little extra creativity.
In any case, the live-action Venom films are still quite enjoyable. With the success of both Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, it’s likely that we’ll be seeing Eddie Brock, Venom, and perhaps some other symbiotes returning in the near future. As such, fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for updates on all those fronts as we have them.
