The highly anticipated blockbuster Spider-Man: No Way Home is bound to be one of the biggest Marvel releases yet. With so many fans eager to see how the film unfolds on the big screen, ticket sellers are scrambling to keep up with demands. After many theater websites crashed in an effort to sell tickets online, it seems this stress has now spread to the fans themselves. In fact, as you can see in a new video, a fist fight actually broke out over tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The following video was shared via diariodemorelos.com, and features fans fighting at the Cinépolis theater in Cuernavaca, Mexico. The fight apparently broke out the morning of Monday, November 29. It’s clear that two pairs of fans began punching and kicking at each other in their effort to get tickets. Eventually, bystanders were able to stop the fighting before things got too rough.
As you can see below:
With No Way Home tickets becoming harder to come by with every passing day, it’s evident that fans will do nearly anything – including fight – to get theirs. It goes to show just how much hype there really is for Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is intended to bring together several different Spider-Man franchise continuities for one massive Multiverse crossover. While it’s unknown if Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield will also be returning for the mix, it’s clear that their suggested involvement is one of the major driving forces for all the hype. And it seems likely that fans will only know once the film finally hits theaters.
The upcoming MCU film was directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress are all attached to appear.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
