Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, the co-stars of Disney’s live-action Snow White remake, are potentially being considered for a different kind of Disney venture. Specifically, a new rumor has surfaced that suggests both Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot are on the studio’s list for major Marvel roles in the MCU.
The MCU, otherwise known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has an abundance of existing cast members and newcomers that are constantly being discussed for roles in the superhero franchise. After all, there are new characters constantly being included and introduced, so it makes sense that Disney and Marvel Studios have a list of actors they would like to potentially work with.
Of course, what’s surprising is that the new film Snow White is essentially flopping at the box office. As one of the most expensive movies ever made, it’s having difficulty performing, and the controversy that followed its production no doubt didn’t help. As such, fans might not have expected Rachel Zegler or Gal Gadot to be big names wanted for the studio.
And, while this has yet to be confirmed and should be taken with a grain of salt, it does seem to be one of the latest rumors. As shared via insider @MyTimeToShineH:
“Snow White stars, Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, are both being considered for big roles in the MCU.”

At the end of the day, they both have a history of Disney, so it makes sense that both Zegler and Gadot could be wanted by the studio for potential roles in the MCU. Interestingly, they’ve both had roles in the former DCEU, with Zegler having appeared in Shazam! Fury of the Gods as Anthea, while Gadot appeared in several installments as Wonder Woman.
If true, perhaps we’ll hear more in the future. Of course, no matter the case, it likely depends on how Snow White continues to perform at the box office and with viewers. As always, we’ll have to see what happens, so stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional news as we have it.
