The Final Destination film franchise entered a hiatus after releasing five films from 2000 to 2011. The hiatus has since been broken, however, with the upcoming release of the sixth film in the franchise – Final Destination: Bloodlines. Now fans can see the full official trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines below.
Excitingly enough, this looks like a true Final Destination sequel, one that follows the familiar rules and tropes of its predecessors. Of course, being that this is a new entry, there are still all-new deaths and crazy premonitions that will continue to give viewers and fans anxiety and a sense of morbid fun.
Additionally, fans can see Tony Todd reprise his role as William Bludworth in the sequel. Todd sadly passed away late last year but not before completing his work on the film. It once again looks like he gives a brilliant performance.
Here’s the full official trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines that has finally been released online:

Adam Stein & Zach Lipovsky directed the feature from a screenplay by Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor, with a story by Jon Watts and Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor. Other cast members include Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, and Anna Lore, with Brec Bassinger.
While the footage offers a new plot for fans of the franchise and newcomers to the series, it does seem as though there are strong ties to the original series. There’s one prop in particular that depicts several familiar events from the franchise. As the title suggests, this could be an important piece to the overall puzzle and the “bloodline” of the Final Destination saga.
Fans will be able to see Final Destination: Bloodlines in theaters on May 16, 2025.
