The ongoing legal troubles with Blake Lively have now led to allegations from A Simple Favor assistant director Barbara Szeman. Szeman, who worked on the aforementioned film that starred Blake Lively, claims that Lively led her to cry multiple times during the production.
Szeman recently used an Instagram post made by Henry Golding regarding the upcoming sequel Another Simple Favor to comment her thoughts on Lively. The comments have since been deleted, however Page Six was able to share what Szeman wrote.
“I worked with you on the first one,” she told the actor. “My experience with everyone was absolutely amazing, except for a certain someone who is the reason I quit being an AD.”
Szeman didn’t fully give away who she was referring to, but she did cryptically tease that it was Blake Lively. On that note, she did conclude her comments with the following statement to Golding:
“I wish you all the best with this though!”
While the former A Simple Favor assistant director apparently wanted to “avoid” any attention, Page Six adds that she had to say something because of how Blake Lively was “cruel to many.” The outlet added the following statements from Szeman:
“I know I cried my way home many nights because you try so hard to please someone who is never pleased and puts you down constantly,” she added. Furthermore, Szeman hinted at Lively’s ongoing legal issues with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni:
“I can’t believe it’s actually getting back at her. Karma is real,” Szeman wrote.
On that note, the legal troubles between Lively and Baldoni are still ongoing. However, Szeman’s comments on social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook, even if deleted, certainly add new layers to the situation. As such, those interested can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates regarding this debacle as we have them.
