Netflix subscribers are likely going to be unhappy about the streaming platform’s most recent wave of cancellations. After all, while these shows may not be major successes, there are Netflix subscribers that hope to see them renewed on the platform.
Nevertheless, going into 2025, Netflix has made sure to clean up their slate. This means that numerous television shows were canceled in 2024. Now subscribers can see which of their favorite shows have been canceled by Netflix.
The cancellations occurred throughout the year on the streaming service. In fact, the total number of canceled shows can be added up to more than twenty different titles. That’s a large number of television programs that subscribers have become accustomed to, and sadly, it doesn’t even include all of the titles coming to an end in 2025.
The shows in the following list were gathered based on whether or not they came to an unprecedented end. This means that the shows were canceled without a proper ending. However, it doesn’t include all of the shows that were announced to be concluding proper, such as Stranger Things.
Here’s the list which was organized from the newest to oldest cancellations announced by Netflix:
- Girls5eva
- Bad Dinosaurs
- Scott Pilgrim Takes Off
- Unstable
- Kaos
- That 90’s Show
- Buying London
- Dead Boy Detectives
- Buying Beverly Hills
- My Dad The Bounty Hunter
- Everything Now
- Barbarians
- That Girl Lay Lay

The outlet also listed several television projects that are now announced to be concluded as single-season miniseries rather than multiple-season shows:
- Business Proposal

- Crash Landing on You
- Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha
- Mine
- My Liberation Notes
- Our Blues
- Siren: Survive the Island

Other shows from several years ago were also announced to be quietly canceled behind-the-scenes:

The list of canceled shows include various genres, styles, and levels of success. It’s clear that there is no predictable way to tell what Netflix might cancel next, and as such, we’ll have to see what happens next for the streaming giant.
