Tatiana Maslany starred as the titular character in the divisive Disney Plus MCU series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Now Maslany is reflecting back on one of the show’s most controversial and viral scenes, in which She-Hulk begins twerking with none other than Megan Thee Stallion in a post-credits scene.
Of course, the She-Hulk comic book character is often associated with such quirky and comical moments. For some fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, it was something considered too jarring. As such, it’s interesting to see what Tatiana Maslany has to say about twerking as She-Hulk now that the dust has settled.
While speaking at San Antonio’s Superhero Comic-Con, via @AgentsFandom on X, Maslany shared the following statement:
“I had been to multiple Megan Thee Stallion concerts before this. I was ready. That was the greatest moment of my life.”
She also discussed working with Mark Ruffalo, the actor responsible for portraying Bruce Banner aka Hulk in most MCU iterations:
“There was only fun moments with Mark. He’s such a joy. He really is just a big kid in the best way. And he also shows up every day like ‘I don’t know, I don’t know what this is.'”
For those interested, she also recalled her first moment getting to “Hulk Out” for the series:
“Oh my god, it was amazing!” Maslany exclaimed. “It was just a shot of me sitting in a chair. I was futzing with a glove and playing with my hands…and I was like ‘This is so amazing.'”
It’s great to see that she had such a great time working on the series and with the show’s cast members, whether they were Marvel veterans like Mark Ruffalo or guest stars like Megan Thee Stallion. Especially when considering she had to deal with backlash outside of her good times on the set.
