The Marvel Cinematic Universe is entering a new direction with the upcoming movie Deadpool & Wolverine. Though we’ve had glimpses of both the Multiverse and the X-Men in several recent projects, Deadpool & Wolverine is set to blow the door wide open with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine taking the spotlight. As shared below, however, some fans even believe they’ve spotted Blade getting in on some of the Deadpool & Wolverine action – but not the version of Blade you expect.
Blade is a character that was first portrayed for the screen by Wesley Snipes. After he played the role in three movies, Sticky Fingaz took over for a short-lived television series. It was much later announced that Mahershala Ali would appear in a Blade movie set in the MCU, and he further had a voice cameo in Marvel’s Eternals.
As you can see below, however, fans believe they’ve spotted a much more physical appearance from Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine. Interestingly, it’s unknown exactly what version of the character this appearance could belong to – if it even is Blade. But it’s an absolutely striking image.
The photo, which was taken from Total Film magazine and republished by GamesRadar, features Deadpool standing front-and-center. Behind him, however, is an out-of-focus character that one can only assume is, well, Blade. Interestingly, fans seem to feel like this is actually the Sticky Fingaz version of the character rather than the ones portrayed by Snipes or from the upcoming iteration starring Ali.

Of course, given the comical nature of Deadpool, bringing in the Sticky Fingaz version of Blade is absolutely something he would do. It remains to be seen if that’s how this gag will play out, whether or not other iterations will also appear, and if this really is Blade. But one thing is for certain – Deadpool & Wolverine is going to be an absolutely unhinged ride.
