The Marvel Cinematic Universe is pushing ahead with the production of Thunderbolts*, an all-new superhero and supervillain team-up film. The titular team is comprised of various antiheroes that go on missions for the government. Now a new set photo from the upcoming Marvel production has revealed the return of a beloved MCU character.
Interestingly, Marvel Studios began promoting the film with an asterisk in its title. It’s still unclear what exactly the asterisk means, with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige explaining that they won’t discuss it until after the film is released. Though fans have their own theories about the asterisk’s meaning.
Many believe that the asterisk signifies a change to the team’s name, one that will come into play after the film is released. It’s believed by some that this name change could very well be “Dark Avengers.” Of course, it’s a little too early to know for certain.
What we do know, however, is that actor Sebastian Stan has a new lo444444444444444444444444444444444444ok as beloved character Bucky Barnes in the film. As you can see below, set photos have surfaced showing Stan on the set of the project. As mentioned, he has a new look, which seems to be fitting since he seems to have overcome his programming.

In addition to Stan, the cast of the film includes Hannah John-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Olga Kurylenko, Harrison Ford, and Lewis Pullman.
