The hit Amazon Prime Video series The Boys is going to return this year for another exciting season. It’s been two years since the third season of the show concluded. Now, however, fans will only have to wait about a month longer – and to hold them over, a new trailer for Season 4 has been released.
The new season is set to consist of eight episodes with each installment dropping weekly. And, as shared by the season’s synopsis, the plot for this new season is sure to excite fans of the show. Here’s the official synopsis:
“In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”
It certainly sounds like an exciting new addition to the show. Especially after the way the third season ended, and the time since then, it’ll be a great way to reunite with our favorite characters. Check out the trailer below:
Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and Cameron Crovetti all star in the new season.
