The Marvel Cinematic Universe has more than a few projects in development. As such, it can be difficult to keep track of. One such Disney Plus project, that many Marvel fans thought was being discarded entirely, is actually not being cancelled as previously believed.
Disney CEO Bob Iger has already been shifting the focus of Marvel Studios from television back to film. After all, the numerous Disney Plus shows they’ve produced so far have been rather costly. Nevertheless, it looks like there could be one Marvel Disney Plus series that still makes it to the small screen if it wasn’t actually canceled.
This surprising development was shared in a new production listing, where it was teased that the project could go into production in the United Kingdom as soon as this October. Of course, Production Weekly has made errors in the past, so the information should still be taken with a grain of salt until Marvel Studios releases an official announcement.
Otherwise, it’s worth noting that insider @ScarletWitchUpd also shared news regarding the Disney Plus series, further fueling the fire that it has not been canceled after all. As you can see in their brief post shared below, they similarly stated that the series is gearing up to begin production in the United Kingdom this fall.

The series, titled Vision Quest, would become the first solo project for the MCU character Vision played by Paul Bettany. The character has had supporting roles in numerous MCU projects, including the Disney Plus series WandaVision. The series even opened the doorway for Vision to have his own show – though it was unclear if that would still be the plan.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Marvel Cinematic Universe updates as we have them. In the meantime, we’ll have to wait and see what happens regarding the progress of Vision Quest.
