The Marvel Cinematic Universe is bringing back Daredevil and a few other familiar faces in the upcoming Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again. As the title suggests, it will be a brand-new successor to the Daredevil series which originally ran on Netflix. In addition to Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil, however, fans can also expect Jon Bernthal to reprise his role as The Punisher – as shared in some Daredevil: Born Again set photos below.
Charlie Cox has already reprised his role for several other MCU projects in recent years, including cameos in Spider-Man: No Way Home and the Disney Plus series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. As for Jon Bernthal, he hasn’t portrayed The Punisher since 2019 when The Punisher Season 2 was released via Netflix. Therefore, it’s quite exciting to not only see Bernthal back in action, but to have both of them appearing together yet again.
On that note, it remains to be seen how Bernthal’s Punisher will fit into the plot of Daredevil: Born Again. The story for the new series has been kept under wraps for the most part, and with Disney changing things behind-the-scenes, it’s been a tricky production to follow. Hopefully more details will be released soon. As for now, these images are no doubt enough to get fans hyped.

A release date for the upcoming Disney Plus series has yet to be revealed. For now, however, it’s great to know that work on Daredevil: Born Again is underway. For now, fans are no doubt pleased to know that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher are back in Daredevil: Born Again. Hopefully there will also be plenty of other appearances for them in the future.
