One of DC‘s most popular projects has been the Arkham video game series. Now the popular video games have paved the way for the all-new title Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. However, a major controversial scene featuring Batman from the Suicide Squad game has now been released online.
Obviously the game makes a drastic change by being told from the perspective of the Suicide Squad, and not only that, but one that makes the Justice League the antagonists. Unfortunately, that includes Batman. And given that this game now marks the final performance from late Batman actor Kevin Conroy, it’s not exactly a fitting finale.
The game ultimately leads to the Suicide Squad capturing Batman. Harley Quinn taunts the character, and the controversial moment then begins.
As you can see below, the scene continues as Harley Quinn finishes taunting Batman. She then shoots him point-blank in the head. It’s certainly a devastating finale for Kevin Conroy, who voiced multiple variations of the character including the beloved Batman: The Animated Series.
The fact that this Batman voiced by Conroy is made into a villain, however, and then killed off in a horrible way, it hasn’t left fans in a good mood. Of course, developer Rocksteady likely didn’t know that this would be Conroy’s final performance as the character. Nevertheless, it’s an unfortunate circumstance from a game that may otherwise appeal to fans.

It’s worth noting that this clip was recorded as a result of a major glitch in the game. The early release of the title includes a glitch that left players with “full story completion” upon logging in for the first time. Obviously this has led to plenty of spoilers that have surfaced online as a result.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional DC news as we have it. For the time being, fans can now purchase Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
