In addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which spans both film and television, Marvel has been involved with a number of unrelated adaptations. One such adaptation, a Marvel series available on Hulu, has just been renewed for a new season while other shows on the platform have been canceled.
The addition of Disney Plus over the last few years has made it unclear if there’s still room for Marvel shows on other platforms. As such, it wasn’t exactly surprising when Hulu canceled most of its slate of Marvel shows, not unlike when Netflix canceled theirs.
As mentioned, however, one such series is still coming back for another season on Hulu. This was confirmed by the show’s official Instagram account. According to the photo shared by the account, fans can expect this series to return for its second season in 2024.

Indeed, the animated Hulu series Hit-Monkey is being resurrected for a second season. The first season was released in 2021. With so many years since the release of that particular season, and other Marvel shows on the platform being canceled, it didn’t look good for Hit-Monkey.
In fact, the second season was initially announced earlier this year in February. Without much news since then, some fans felt like something may have changed – if they even remembered the series at all. Now, however, it’s clear that it will be returning just in time for next year.
A specific release date and any other details regarding the new season have yet to be released. Hopefully, however, more news will come to light in the near future. Especially now that we’re about to enter 2024.
It was previously announced that Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Munn, Fred Tatasciore, and Ally Maki would be returning to reprise their roles for the new season.
