Elon Musk, owner of the social media platform X formerly known as Twitter, recently gave Taylor Swift some advice about her music. Fans retaliated and immediately told Musk to “stay away” from her and her work.
Musk’s advice for Swift was unsolicited, suggesting that she should post “some music or concert videos directly on the X platform.” It’s this advice, on a post where Swift was merely sharing her back covers and vault track titles for “1989 (Taylor’s Version)“, that prompted fans to speak up.
As shared below:
“It’s a new soundtrack,” wrote Swift. “Here are the back covers and vault track titles for 1989 (my version) I can’t wait for this one to be out, seriously. Thank you for playing along, sleuthing, puzzling and making these reveals so much chaotic fun (which is the best kind of fun, after all 😜)”
Now fans are eagerly telling Elon Musk to “stay away” from Taylor Swift, additionally telling Musk to “get a job” and that he’s a “freak.” Here are some of those tweets made in response to Musk’s advice:

Great point. If she posted some videos of her singing she could become a millionaire in no time from the ad revenue

Of course, Taylor Swift doesn’t really need any advice. Her career has been doing just fine as of late. In fact, her ongoing Eras Tour has been a monumental success, and a theatrical version of it is set to soon hit theaters across the country. As such, it’s possible that Swift posting videos on X would be more of a benefit to Musk than the other way around. In any case, as of this writing, Swift has yet to give any response to Musk’s tweet.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates on Elon Musk and Taylor Swift as we have them. It’ll certainly be interesting to see if they interact any further, or if Musk will heed the advice of fans and simply keep his distance from Swift.
