Marvel actor Jonathan Majors, known for his role as Kang the Conqueror in Loki and other such projects, is once again making headlines. This time Majors is receiving backlash, however, for a what some are calling a “PR stunt” that’s occurred ahead of his upcoming court trial.
The event was captured on video via TMZ. As they’ve shared, Majors is “playing the hero in real life,” as it appears that he got “right in the middle of an intense high school fight to break things up while several other people just watched.”
The fight apparently broke out on Monday afternoon at Hollywood High School, which is described as being “directly across the street from an In-N-Out.” Majors was said to be “grabbing lunch” at the restaurant “when he saw the girls, and decided to rush into the middle of the melee to rip the girls apart, urging them to calm down and telling them it isn’t worth it to fight.”
The two girls continue to fight even with Majors between them. “Eventually, he gets them fully pulled apart and gets the situation under control.” The girls are then said to have gone “their separate ways” after Majors broke up the fight. Majors claims to have simply wanted to make sure that no one got hurt and he hoped both of the girls were doing okay afterward.

Nevertheless, social media users on X feel like this is merely an “orchestrated PR stunt” ahead of Majors’ upcoming trial. Especially as the video surfaced just one day before the trial is set to take place. Here are some of the responses shared online:

However, one user shared another angle of the video and said that it definitely was not staged:
The Jonathan Majors fight was 100% real. I go to the school the fight was at, I know one of the girls who fought. It was over stupid high school stuff. Here’s another angle for everyone who’s saying there was no one there. No idea how TMZ got it first. 1/? pic.twitter.com/fztHGF5fhj

It’s certainly interesting timing, and with that in mind, we’ll have to see how the upcoming trial pans out for Jonathan Majors. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates as we have them. The Marvel actor is currently going to trial with his ex-girlfriend over allegations that he assaulted her. Majors has continued to insist his innocence.
