Former The Mandalorian star Gina Carano and upcoming Snow White star Rachel Zegler have both faced their share of controversy. Now, however, Gina Carano mocked Rachel Zegler in what’s become the latest example of their beef against one another.
Rachel Zegler recently made a post on Twitter regarding the backlash she’s faced over Snow White. She made comments about the original film’s prince character, which she called a “stalker,” and now she hopes “the world becomes kinder” as a result. Interestingly, this gave Carano the perfect opportunity to weigh in.
She responded to Zegler’s post with the following gif:

The joke is that Carano previously used the word “boop” as part of her bio with the phrase “beep/bop/boop.” This goes back to 2020, when transgender activists targeted Carano for not using pronouns in her bio. Rachel Zegler was one such activist and vaguely alluded to Carano in the following series of tweets:
“Do not make fun of pronouns,” she states in the first tweet. “They are not a joke! Pronouns are validating! Pronouns are cool! Put your pronouns in your bio! I wear my pronouns on a button sometimes! It’s a good thing! Bye!”
It might be difficult to see the reference to Carano. However, she adds the following tweet which references her co-star from The Mandalorian to conclude her statement:
“It’s a fun time to remind you all to love Pedro Pascal.”

As such, it’s likely that their beef against one another will continue for quite some time. Especially as the two continue to face backlash in their respective careers. Nevertheless, Carano has made a name for herself elsewhere beyond The Mandalorian, and Zegler’s Snow White is still set to continue production after the SAG-AFTRA strikes. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates on Gina Carano and Rachel Zegler as we have them.
