The upcoming superhero blockbuster Deadpool 3 is set to combine multiple continuities with its narrative. This will allow the titular character, a product of Fox’s X-Men film franchise, to cross into Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. Interestingly, however, a new rumor suggests that the villain of Deadpool 3 was already introduced in the MCU.
This rumor was brought to light by insider @MyTimeToShineHello. Though it’s worth noting that they didn’t specify which character could be the film’s villains. Fans have certainly made some good guesses, however, and some of them would no doubt bring another exciting element to the film.
Fans are already anxious to see Deadpool 3 because the film will again unite Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool with Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine. With the possibilities for the film’s villain, however, it could make Deadpool 3 even more dynamic and important to the MCU.
For starters, many fans suspect that Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch could be the film’s antagonist. This could make sense following the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Though there are other guesses, which include Judge Renslayer from Loki and James Spader’s Ultron.
