Fans of The Walking Dead are eager to see the stories of certain characters continue. This will happen in the form of various new spin-offs including the ongoing series The Walking Dead: Dead City and another upcoming spin-off series, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. Now Daryl Dixon will be getting his own spin-off as revealed in the official trailer below for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
Daryl Dixon has been a fan-favorite character of the franchise since the beginning. And, much like Rick Grimes, is one of the only surviving characters from the first season. As such, his story is quite important, and it looks like he’ll be taking that story to some very surprising locations as shared in the new footage.

“The upcoming spinoff series tracks Daryl Dixon’s (Norman Reedus) journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”
David Zabel serves as showrunner on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Furthermore, The Walking Dead executive producer and director Greg Nicotero will also be involved with the new spin-off series. The series is also executive produced by David Zabel, Scott M. Gimple, Norman Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath, and Daniel Percival.
In addition to Norman Reedus, the announced cast for the series also includes Clémence Poésy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.
Fans will be able to see the highly-anticipated spin-off series premiere via AMC and AMC Plus on September 10, 2023.
