Marvel Cinematic Universe star Jonathan Majors recently engaged in a lawsuit where he was sued by his former girlfriend. After receiving a “win” in this lawsuit, however, it looks like Jonathan Majors is now facing additional allegations of abuse and other examples of violent behavior.
The new allegations were listed by Rolling Stone, after the publication spoke with more than 40 people involved with Majors. The people are said to go as far back as the actor’s college days and in more recent years having worked on film sets with him. The descriptions continue to call Majors “a complicated, unpredictable, and sometimes violent man, who can switch from charming to cold in a flash.”
The allegations also reference alleged encounters in which Majors was both physically and emotionally abusive to two former girlfriends. As shared:
“My experience in dealing with him and watching him in relationships with several women [is] really upsetting.”
However, Majors’ attorney denies all of these allegations. In fact, they claim that everything said is “based entirely on hearsay.”
“Jonathan Majors vehemently denies Rolling Stone’s false allegations that he physically, verbally, or emotionally abused anyone, let alone any of his past romantic partners. These allegations are based entirely on hearsay because neither of the romantic partners referenced were willing to engage with Rolling Stone for the article—demonstrating their outright falsity.”
Interestingly, Majors’ own legal team tried to respond with their own statements from six of Major’s former partners. Though Rolling Stone has likewise countered and says that three of the people “say they never gave Majors’ team permission to release such statements.” Another of the six says their statement was pre-written and furthermore not approved by them.
As such, we’ll have to continue seeing how this situation evolves. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates as we have them.
