The internet has been deeply immersed in the search for the Titan. The small submersible went missing after journeying to visit the wreckage of the Titanic with five passengers onboard. Sadly, it’s now been revealed that the Titan imploded, and a set of viral videos attempt to depict what the implosion could have looked like.
As a result of the implosion, all five passengers are said to have died what can only be described as “instantaneously.” Now the below videos from TikTok can really emphasize just what “instantaneously” means. As a result of the extreme pressure, the submersible is said to have crumpled together, and soon enough torn apart in a violent explosion.
This is the subject matter of one video regarding the Titan implosion as you can see below:

Another video offers a separate 3D animation of a submarine imploding under extreme pressure. It is similarly crumpled before a large explosion destroys whatever is left of the vehicle:

As of this writing, it’s unknown what exactly caused the submersible to implode. Stockton Rush, the CEO of OceanGate, the company involved with the submersible, was onboard at the time of its implosion. He’s said to have dismissed various warnings regarding the vehicle’s safety.
Titanic director James Cameron, who has also visited the real-life wreckage of the ship in his own submersible, has shared his thoughts on the tragedy. He adds that it was “only a matter of time” that something would happen given the dismissal of warnings and that it would be “literally catastrophic failure.” Now these above videos could give a terrifying glimpse into what that failure looked like in action.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates on the situation as we have them. There are currently investigations being held to visit the debris of the Titan which is currently located near the site of the Titanic itself.
