Marvel Cinematic Universe star Jonathan Majors was arrested earlier this year. The popular actor was accused of domestic assault allegations against a woman, named Grace Jabbari, he was apparently dating. Now his lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, claims that Jonathan Majors was only arrested due to the “racism” of the NYPD.
As noted via Insider, Chaudhry claims that Majors’ former girlfriend was not injured by the actor. She pulls up security footage and other such examples of evidence to prove that she was not injured directly after their argument. Rather, Chaudhry insists that she injured herself while falling in his apartment alone following a night of drinking and taking sleeping pills.
Furthermore, Chaudhry says that she told medics and police “‘I don’t know’ nineteen times” regarding her injuries. This led the so-called “racist” NYPD to begin “coaching Ms. Jabbari to accuse Mr. Majors of assault.” She also alleges that the officers were confused as to why Majors lived in such a luxe penthouse apartment. They did not recognize his status as a high-profile actor.
Chaudhry wrote the following letter to emphasize the “racism” that allegedly led to Jonathan Majors being arrested:
“Even though Ms. Jabbari admitted to drinking to the point of throwing up, taking sleeping pills, and having no idea how she woke up in a closet with a cut on her head and injured finger, the police jumped to the conclusion that Mr. Majors (the young, tall, strong, rich Black man) must have ‘done this’ to Ms. Jabbari,” she wrote.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe was expected to heavily revolve around Jonathan Majors and his role as Kang the Conqueror for several upcoming installments – so the future of the franchise is tied heavily to the outcome of this trial.
