It’s worth mentioning that production on Stranger Things Season 5 has been delayed due to the ongoing writers strike. As such, there probably won’t be more details until that begins to clear up. Though this is a nice surprise and the Stranger Things story is far from over.
As mentioned, the upcoming fifth season of the series is set to be the last. But there are several spin-off projects in the works. This includes both an animated series and a live-action series. Both of these projects are otherwise being kept under wraps for now – but it does promise interesting things for fans of the brand.
Linda Hamilton, in addition to her role as Sarah Connor in the first two Terminator films, and the lesser-received sequel Terminator: Dark Fate, she’s also appeared in Children of the Corn, King Kong Lives, and the 1987 television series Beauty and the Beast where she starred alongside Ron Perlman. With a career like that, she’ll no doubt fit right in with the Stranger Things world and any other icons we can look forward to seeing.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional news regarding Stranger Things Season 5 and the participation of Linda Hamilton as we have it. For now, this is certainly exciting news for the series, and fans of 1980s cinema are no doubt hyped to hear it.
