The seasonal anthology horror series American Horror Story is known for its amazing ensemble casts. Many returning actors tend to play new characters in each season, though they sometimes return as existing characters as well. Now a fan-favorite star has revealed his own return for Season 12.
This was revealed by actor Zachary Quinto who will appear in American Horror Story: Delicate. This will also mark his fourth appearance overall in the fan-favorite series, with Quinto’s most recent role being in Season 11. Interestingly, the new season also stars Kim Kardashian, and Quinto discusses what it was like working with her.
Here’s what he shared via PEOPLE:
“I did a cameo on this season of American Horror Story and I got to meet her,” he states. “She was so lovely and warm and, really, I don’t think she needs my advice.”
This is certainly some high praise for Kardashian. Naturally, many social media users were upset by her involvement in the show’s upcoming season, but others were quite supportive. As for veteran cast member Zachary Quinto, he seems quite positive that Kardashian will deliver the goods. And considering he actually worked with her on the show – he certainly knows what he’s talking about.
Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian, and Cara Delevingne are also attached to appear in the show’s newest season. Fans can also expect to see Michaela Jae Rodriguez and Matt Czuchry as part of the cast. Halley Feiffer will serve as showrunner.
The specific plot details are mostly being kept under wraps, though it appears to be inspired by Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel Delicate Condition. The upcoming book is set to be published on August 1.
