Brie Larson, known for her role as Captain Marvel in the MCU, was excitingly chosen as a juror at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival. Additionally, fans can see Brie Larson and the see-through dress she chose to wear for the occasion.
Larson shared a few photos from the festival on her Instagram profile. This included a caption about just how emotional the festival turned out to be. In fact, the photos appear to have been taken “before bawling,” with the event having “been an honor of a lifetime,” as described in her caption.
As for the caption:
“This is me before bawling my eyes out during the closing ceremony @festivaldecannes,” she begins.
Larson continues sharing what it meant for her to be a juror at the festival:
“These last two weeks have been an honor of a lifetime. To be a juror means being in constant contact with the other brilliant minds who make up the jury as a whole – while discussing the extraordinary talent behind each film we deliberated. I will sincerely miss seeing, hearing, learning, sharing, and debating with them every day. It’s changed me forever. And I do not say that lightly.
“Thank you to every person behind each frame of the films I saw. Your passion and craftsmanship didn’t go unnoticed. This festival, the jurors, and the films in them have changed the course of my life – and the impact of that is beyond comprehension right now.”
