Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will soon be treated to the fourth Captain America film. It’s been recently revealed that the film will be titled Captain America: Brave New World. And while the film will be focusing on Anthony Mackie’s take on the titular Marvel character, there will be plenty of new additions, including WWE Superstar Seth Rollins.
Of course, Rollins was already spotted on the set for the upcoming MCU blockbuster. But now insider @CanWeGetToast on Twitter claims to have the identity of his Marvel role. It looks like Seth Rollins could be playing a rather fan-favorite character from the classic Marvel comics on which the film is based.
Here’s what they shared:
“Seth Rollins will be playing Cobra and has wrapped filming for #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld.”

It’s worth noting that his role has yet to be officially confirmed by Marvel. But this does line up with previous reports that claimed that the character could be involved with the Serpent Society. Hopefully we’ll have more concrete details and looks at his role soon. Especially now that the insider also adds that Rollins has wrapped his scenes for the fourth Captain America film.
The upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel Captain America: Brave New World is directed by Julius Onah. The screenplay was written by Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman. Meanwhile, Spellman will also produce the film alongside Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
The film stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Shira Haas as Sabra, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, and Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley. The Incredible Hulk actor Tim Blake Nelson will reprise his role as The Leader for the film.
Fans will be able to see Captain America: Brave New World when it hits theaters on May 3, 2024. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates as we have them.
