Fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise are excited to see the fan-favorite mutant superheroes on the big screen again. Furthermore, this new iteration seems to be something of a return to form, with an all-new animated take to enjoy.
This is evident in the film’s new trailer, which not only teases an exciting number of characters and action sequences, but a gorgeous comic book-inspired art style. And, given the roots of this particular franchise, it’s a very fitting style for the characters. There’s also more revealed about the film’s narrative than the first teaser was able to share.

The following synopsis has been released regarding the film’s plot:
“After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
Jeff Rowe directed the film from a screenplay penned by Brendan O’Brien. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg produced the film.
The cast for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem includes Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon as the voices of Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael, respectively.
The massive ensemble also includes Jackie Chan as Splinter, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, John Cena as Rocksteady, Ice Cube as Superfly, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom, and Seth Rogen as Bebop.
