Two Marvel Cinematic Universe projects that fans haven’t heard much from recently include Loki Season 2 and Echo. In fact, it was very unclear when the two Disney Plus shows were supposed to premiere on the streaming service. Now Marvel has officially announced the premiere dates for both Loki and Echo on Disney Plus.
As reported by Variety, Marvel’s own Kevin Feige revealed as much during the Disney Upfront on Tuesday. It looks like the two projects will premiere as soon as this year. Here’s what was shared regarding the premiere dates for Loki and Echo:
“The Season 2 premiere of “Loki” will debut Oct. 6. A month later, in a first for a Marvel series, all episodes of “Echo” will release at once on Nov. 29.”
Kevin Feige further noted that Loki Season 2 is the studio’s “first ever second season,” with fans once again following the titular character and the timeline incidents started in the first season. As for Echo, fans will be seeing more of Maya Lopez who was first introduced in the 2021 Disney Plus series Hawkeye.
With that said, fans are no doubt glad to see that we’ll still be getting two more MCU shows on Disney Plus this year. Reports have previously claimed that the studio intends to slow down their Disney Plus content and now this announcement confirms it. As such, other shows including Ironheart, and Agatha: Coven of Chaos, likely won’t be released until much later in 2024. Secret Invasion will be the next series to premiere as soon as June 21.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional Marvel updates and news on both Loki and Echo as we have it. Now that we know both of these shows will be premiering as soon as this year – there should be plenty of details being released in the coming months. Especially after Secret Invasion airs this summer.
