Netflix viewers are taking to social media after “losing their sanity” over a Stephen King adaptation on the service. It seems that this streaming service’s adaptation of a 2012 novella written by King is finding newfound attention on Twitter.
Of course, Stephen King adaptations are often a popular subgenre of their own among horror films. But this particular entry, a film released in 2019, happens to be more of a psychological thriller. But it’s the film’s bizarre narrative that has fans trying to process what they’ve just watched.
Naturally, fans are now using Twitter to better understand the film. Here are some of the responses to this Stephen King adaptation made by Netflix viewers:

Of course, In the Tall Grass has almost always been a popular pick for Netflix users. It goes to show that Stephen King’s material continues to be a hit with audiences even after so many decades of other adaptations and original works. Hopefully In the Tall Grass will continue to find new audiences in the coming years. As for now, it’s nice knowing that the film is still a hit with viewers.
Here’s a brief synopsis for the film:
“A brother and sister enter a field of tall grass to rescue a boy, but they soon realize they cannot escape and something evil lurks in the grass.”
Vincenzo Natali directed the film which he also wrote based on the novella of the same name by Stephen King and Joe Hill.
The cast includes Harrison Gilbertson, Laysla De Oliveira, Avery Whitted, Will Bule Jr., Rachel Wilson, and Patrick Wilson.
