Gina Carano made headlines when she was fired by Disney following the release of The Mandalorian Season 2. Now some resurfaced photos of Gina Carano have people talking.
Fittingly enough, the photos were posted to celebrate the recent unofficial Star Wars holiday “May the 4th.” The fourth day of May, as many fans already know, is jokingly paired with the iconic Star Wars line “May the Force be with you.”
Evie Magazine notes as much with the photos they shared. Here’s what they wrote in the caption for their post on the unofficial fan holiday, revealing that the photos actually come from their first Print Edition:
“May the 4th be with you 🌟
We’re still not over these gorgeous shots of ‘Mandalorian’ star

As mentioned, Gina Carano was fired from Disney and so she’s no longer involved with the Star Wars franchise. Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped many fans from continuing to support Carano, and many feel like she should have remained part of the brand. So, with that in mind, these photos are certainly a nice May the 4th surprise for those supportive fans. Especially since they’re also a throwback to the magazine’s early days and when Carano was still a fan-favorite star.
She was first removed from the franchise and further blacklisted by Hollywood for a number of controversial social media posts. The posts were related to the recent pandemic with many believing Carano went too far in her opinions.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Star Wars updates or news about Gina Carano as we have it. For now, Carano has been busy collaborating with Daily Wire on such projects as Terror on the Prairie. We’ll have to wait and see what other projects she might have in the works for the near future.
