Florence Pugh has social media shocked following her appearance at the 2023 Met Gala. As it turns out, Pugh chose to arrive with a rather unique change: she chose to shave her head.
As you can see below, however, Twitter users were quite pleased to see Pugh’s appearance. They were supportive of the Midsommar and Don’t Worry Darling star, especially as she chose to shave her head for herself and not to please anyone else.

Florence Pugh actually explained her choices for the Met Gala while speaking with The New York Times. Here’s what she had to say during her recent interview with them:
“The whole point is that you are expressing yourself with what you are wearing,” she explained, adding that it “doesn’t matter if people don’t necessarily like it.
“I don’t think anything that I do has to be 100% loved,” she continued. “Things being up for debate is good. It means people are interested.”
It certainly makes one eager to see what Florence Pugh will have up her sleeve for next year’s gala. For now, however, fans can look forward to some of her upcoming film projects. She’s currently slated to appear in the highly-anticipated upcoming films Oppenheimer, Dune: Part Two, and We Live in Time. Some of her most recent projects include Don’t Worry Darling, The Wonder, a voice role in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, and A Good Person.
