Fans at Star Wars Celebration 2023 were treated to an all-new teaser trailer for Ahsoka. The upcoming Disney Plus series will focus on the titular Jedi character following her reintroduction in The Mandalorian. Additionally, as fans can see below, the new teaser reimagines several iconic Rebels characters for live-action.
Rosario Dawson reprises her role as the live-action iteration of Ahsoka Tano. She previously played the character in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Now, however, her storyline is set to continue with Ahsoka as she prepares to battle various Imperial threats.
In addition to Dawson, fans will notice live-action versions of Sabine Wren played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo and Hera Syndulla played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. And, though he isn’t present in the trailer, it’s been stated that Eman Esfandi will appear in the series as Ezra Bridger. Other cast members include Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno.

It’s exciting to finally have an entire project dedicated entirely to Ahsoka Tano. Of course, being that the series is in live-action makes it all the more incredible. And of course, fans are no doubt happy to see such beloved franchise characters as Sabrine Wren and Hera Syndulla portrayed in live-action. It’s an exciting glimpse for what’s to come.
It’s been stated that Ahsoka is only the next step for the Disney Plus shows that include The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. This particular timeline is expected to culminate with an all-new live-action film directed by Dave Filoni. As such, there’s a lot to look forward to.
