Anya Taylor-Joy portrays the voice of Princess Peach for the newly-released animated film The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Now she’s taken the opportunity to dress up like her character for a special screening of the film. As you can see below, Anya Taylor-Joy pulls out all the stops with her Princess Peach cosplay.
Of course, Anya Taylor-Joy manages to take her Princess Peach cosplay in an unexpected direction. Some fans might’ve expected the star to wear a puffy dress that’d be more obviously associated with Princess Peach’s attire. As you can see below, however, she chose to wear a pink racing suit designed by Christian Dior for the occasion.
The racing suit includes a pink leathery jumpsuit with a zipper and belt on display. Additionally, the gorgeous star has a pair of driving gloves on her hands to match. If that’s not enough – Anya Taylor-Joy also has ribbed legs and bright pink knee-high boots. It is a stunning look that not only captures Princess Peach’s essence – but the unique personality that only Anya Taylor-Joy could give her.
In addition to her pink racing outfit, Anya Taylor-Joy chose to let down her gorgeous blonde hair that perfectly matches Peach’s own haircolor. And to bring it all together, she chose to add dark eye makeup and a vivid strawberry-colored lipstick. She certainly looks the part just as much as her voice fits the fan favorite character.
