It’s just been revealed that former United States president Donald Trump has been indicted by a grand jury in New York. The criminal charges revolve around his alleged involvement with sending hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
This news comes via The New York Times. Donald Trump, however, continues to claim that he is “completely innocent.” Trump’s comment was featured in a statement he delivered following the news of his indictment.

Donald Trump’s claims, as featured in his statement, continue to allege that ever since beginning his candidacy for president, “the radical left Democrats – the enemy of the hard-working men and women of this country – have been engaged in a witch hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement.”
He further discussed the alleged “witch-hunt” and what he believes will happen:
“I believe this Witch-Hunt will backfire massively on Joe Biden. The American people realize exactly what the Radical Left Democrats are doing here. Everyone can see it. So our Movement, and our Party – united and strong – will first defeat Alvin Bragg, and then we will defeat Joe Biden, and we are going to throw every last one of these Crooked Democrats out of office,” so, as his infamous slogan goes, “so we can MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
As of this writing, the exact charges being made against Trump are unknown. Though it’s been noted that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has focused on a felony charge for falsifying business records. This happens to carry a maximum prison sentence of four years. Trump’s attorneys are said to already be in touch with prosecutors with the former president expected to be arraigned next week.
