John Cena has surprisingly broken out of his WWE career with roles such as Peacemaker, the character featured in James Gunn’s HBO Max series of the same name, as well as The Suicide Squad. Now he’ll be appearing in an upcoming film titled Ricky Stanicky. And, as you can see below, John Cena was spotted wearing a skirt and heels for the new movie.
The funky outfit can be seen in broad daylight via photos shared by TMZ. Of course, this isn’t the first time that John Cena has worn such clothes for a comedic role. But it certainly promises that Ricky Stanicky will be taking advantage of his sense of humor and comedic timing – talents that fans are much more aware of following the release of Peacemaker.
Here are the photos where John Cena can be spotted with his skirt, heels, and pantyhose:

Additionally, here’s a description of the film:
“Ricky Stanicky is a fictional character used by a group of married friends to blame their misbehavior when making excuses to their wives. When the wives become suspicious of never meeting this person, the husbands then find someone to play the fictional character.”
Peter Farrelly is directing Ricky Stanicky. The most recent draft of the film’s script was penned by Farrelly, Brian Jarvis, and James L. Freeman. The original spec was written by Jeff Bushell while Steve Oedekerk did a rewrite several years later.
Ricky Stanicky stars Zac Efron, John Cena, William H. Macy, Anja Savcic, Andrew Santino, Jermaine Fowler, and Lex Scott Davis.
